catching up on life
so i haven’t posted here in a little while.
so much has happened.
as i’m sure most of you know, i left my last company around two and a half months ago then spent around six weeks chilling out working on my plans for the future and enjoying life in London.
to be honest i hadn’t planned on getting a job, the plan was to move back home to work on some of my own personal goals and gain some work experience with a small start-up whilst pursuing a few of my own aims.
it’s weird how things have worked out - how sometimes opportunities just present themselves.
i moved out of london at the beginning of the year and joined a small IT consultancy.
I’m currently in Mexico. I spent my first week here, then went to Amsterdam on a project shadowing for a week. I’m now back here for another three weeks of training and shadowing before heading back to europe.
so far things are going well, the company is small, the people are good and i feel as though i’m where i should be right now.
naturally though i want to change things and go and take over the world :P
but that’ll have to wait.
the role involves a lot of travel, which has it’s good and bad sides. it’s giving me a chance to see a bit of the world and learn a lot about myself.
also i’m learning some interesting and valuable stuff… so lets see how it goes.
anyway, i think that’s all the interesting stuff worth reporting.
